The guests also had a great time, the tent looked beautiful and it was very nice meeting you. When leaving the hotel we where given a battery for a Canon camera which could belong to Pavlina. We are in Prague tomorrow till 4 if she needs it otherwise we can post it. How long do you think it will be until we receive the photographs.

Once again thank you so much you really made it an amazing day for us both.

Best Regards

The present owner, the great-granddaughter also borrowed money for the purchase of the second half of the homestead and she wishes the only thing: that people would feel happy there again. This is one of the reasons why the guest-house (pension) “ Na Kmíně ” has been established – a romantic place that connects and in which we have sowed the experience and love.

A wedding in Na Kmíně brings a total freedom in a stylish, spacious, modern and yet historic family homestead. You can choose from several outdoor and indoor space options. The barn invites you to decorate it exactly according to your ideas. You can have there only a part of your celebration or even the whole wedding day, because it can fit up to 400 guests. The barn is furnished with 20 tables and 200 chairs, with a new smoothly spilled floor (not required to do any changes for the dance floor). The atmosphere of the barn is enhanced by a 500m long light chain with bulbs.

Schloss Hof, Austria

About

The grounds of Schloss Hof extend over more than 50 hectares of land, in eastern Lower Austria. The magnificent ensemble with its lordly palace, beautiful Terraced Garden and idyllic Manor Farm was laid out in the late 1720s as an impressive country home and hunting lodge for Prince Eugene of Savoy. The architect, Johann Lucas von Hildebrandt, was able to draw on practically unlimited resources. His employer, after all, was not only one of the most successful generals but also one of the wealthiest men of his time. Hundreds of labourers, craftsmen and gardeners spent years fullfilling Hildebrandt’s plans. By 1730 most of the work was completed and resulted in one of the most impressive baroque total pieces of art.

Habsburg ownership

The unique beauty of Schloss Hof was not lost on Empress Maria Theresa. In 1755 she acquired the complex from Prince Eugene’s heir and presented it as a gift to her husband, Emperor Francis Stephen. The new owner fully appreciated the value of his new possession, and until his death in 1765, the Emperor spent many weeks at Schloss Hof every year between spring and late autumn. Here he went deer-stalking or spent time with his immediate family – his wife, Maria Theresa, and their numerous children – “to relieve his soul of the burden of ruling” as it says on an inscription on the Palace façade facing the garden. However the strict rules of the Vienna court ceremonial prescribed the presence of almost 200 servants at all times, resulting in lack of space to accommondate all of them at Schloss Hof. This led Maria-Theresia in 1770 (meanwhile widowed) to add another storey to the building. Therefore imperial court architect Franz Anton Hillebrandt decorated the façade and the interior in the rich Classicistic style in vogue at the time, thus giving Schloss Hof the appearance it still has today.

Training ground for the Imperial and Royal Army

The generations of Habsburg emperors and archdukes that followed showed little interest in their Marchfeld summer residence and increasingly allowed nature to do its destructive work. In the late 19th century Emperor Francis Joseph turned the complex into a military training ground, and the already heavily damaged imperial splendour almost entirely disappeared. In addition to the wind, weather and weeds, imperial soldiers quartered here along with their horses did little to protect the Baroque Gesamtkunstwerk. But at least the Emperor had been prudent – or thrifty– enough to first remove the furniture. Some 200 wagon-loads of art objects and other furnishings rolled off to the imperial warehouses in Vienna, where for the following two decades the material would provide a rich source for decorating other imperial palaces.

Threatened by decay

Following the collapse of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, the Republic of Austria used some of these precious items for decorating government buildings and embassies. Political upheaval had little effect on Schloss Hof itself, which remained under military administration. Only the uniforms of the soldiers changed: the Imperial and Royal Cavalry was followed by soldiers of the Austrian Federal Army, then the German Wehrmacht moved in, and in 1945 soldiers of the occupying Red Army took over the Palace for ten years. The open wounds caused by disinterest, inappropriate use and, not least, two world wars were closed only inadequately after 1955. While there was no lack of either good ideas or good will for a complete renovation, financing remained elusive. The three components were finally available in 2002 when a society founded solely for the revitalization, undertook the needed measurements for the restoration of this precious monument of Austrian culture heritage.

New splendour

In May 2005, the restoration work was far enough along that the ensemble could be opened to visitors.Austria’s largest rural palace complex had finally been restored to its former splendour, original dignity and intended purpose as a venue for magnificent celebrations.Schloss Hof is again open to would-be time-travellers seeking to explore the world of Prince Eugene and Empress Maria Theresa in a place where they once lived and breathed and to become acquainted with the Baroque lifestyle in a manner that is fascinating, exciting, and far more real than any museum experience.

Wedding ceremony

Symbolic wedding ceremonies are available anytime and can be arranged in the garden, Marchfeld, Orangerie or Schloss premises.

Wedding reception

Wedding receptions can take place in the Marchfeld (more rustic), Orangerie or elegant Festsaal. Catering needs to be arranged at the Schloss Hof.

Lodging

The hotel next to the Schloss Hof can accommodate about 40 people. Vienna is approx. 30 min driving, as well as Bratislava.

Stone Bell House

Facts:

• type of ceremony – civil, church (protestant), symbolic

• ceremonies take place at the beautiful ceremony hall, located at 1st floor. The room combines modern design with historical premises

• length of the ceremony is around 25 min

• civil ceremony is in Czech, translated into English (or any other language), church or symbolic ceremony in any language

About:

The origins of the Stone Bell House date, according to the latest constructional and historical researches, from the second half of the 13th century, when a lengthwise building behind the monumental spiral corner with massive perimeter walls was built. The oldest building phase is preserved in the cellars and on the ground floor of the south wing. The second building phase followed in about 1310. At that time there was raised the chapel with rich figurative and ornamental painted decoration covering the walls and the dome.

The typical house sign was placed at the corner of the building in the 16th century. After 1685 and in the 18th century baroque adaptations of the building took place. Preceding a demanding restoration of the Stone Bell House, during which the neo-baroque facade from the 19th century was pulled down, extensive constructional and historical research was carried out, which revealed the Gothic facade. Restoration was finished in 1988 and the City assigned the building to serve as the GHMP exhibiting space for its important exhibition projects. In the building there is a Gallery shop and in the rear part of the building is a café.

To my surprise, Jakub proposed me in a very romantic way in Moravia, a gorgeous place in the south of The Czech Republic. Although, it was after a four – year relationship, it was completely unexpected for me. At that time, I was sure, he would show me the vineyard which he had bought to me. It´s necessary to say, a present like this would be like an absolute disaster for my busy life, which is placed in Prague. Today I don´t own a vineyard, but it was worth it, I wear a stunning ring and have a great husband.

Jakub and I had been planning this day for a year. To be honest, I had been planning everything around it! Fornunately I´ve met Andrea (Exclusive wedding in Prague) who helped me a lot. I would never think that arranging the wedding could be so complicated. At the beginning we were at all clear about the place of wedding – Valtice, Moravia and catering. In view of the fact that I run a catering company and delicious food was the only wish of my husband concerning the wedding day, we didn´t have to look for this kind of service. The rest of the services were recommended by Andrea and we were so lucky to have such amazing floral arrangements and such smart printed materials. Simply to say we had met some cool people along the wedding journey including an outstanding photographer Peter. His photos have proved how tallented he is and how unique artist he is. It was pleasure to have him around.

The days leading up to the wedding were hectic, of course, but perhaps the best part was how relaxed the entire day was. My planner, Andrea, and everyone who cooperated on our wedding made the day so easy and stress free. Thanks a lot. I think it was both first and last day when I felt like a queen.

My advice to other brides is to enjoy every moment of the day and trust your planner!

We were lucky enough to have our dream wedding in one of the most romantic cities in the world: Prague, Czech Republic. My husband is Czech, but my family is Bolivian-English-American, so we had about 100 of our guests from over 25 countries flying in for the celebration. Planning a wedding from across the Atlantic Ocean can be a daunting task, but our hardworking wedding coordinator and brilliant group of vendors made it possible to bring our vision to life.

My husband and I met one summer in Montpellier in the south of France when we were just teenagers. So naturally, we decided to make the romantic, ethereal feeling of young, summer love the centerpiece of our wedding. We used ivory, champagne and soft gradations of rose to complement the beautiful baroque church where our ceremony took place and the gorgeous palace where we had our cocktail hour and reception. My husband is a violinist, so we knew from the start that music would be one of the most important elements of our wedding. Our ceremony featured a 40-piece orchestra, an organ, a soprano and a choir, which all together made the atmosphere truly magical. It was even more special that most of the musicians were close friends of ours. Later on in the evening, a string quartet serenaded us during our four-course dinner, a 12-piece band welcomed our guests onto the dance floor, and a DJ kept us on our feet until two in the morning. For our first dance, 12 of our cellist friends performed a classical version of La Vie en Rose, and as a surprise, my husband performed a piece for me as part of his toast.

Our wedding was the best day of our lives and one we will look back on with a smile on our face and love in our hearts for years to come.

Panstvi Dlouha Lhota

About

Spaciousness, luxury, unique atmosphere & a cute attention to detail – this is Panstvi.

The very first topographical mention of our site appeared in written sources about 1336under the name given by its then-holders, the Bavarians from Strakonice, Bavorov Lhota. Bavorov Lhota belonged to Pičín estate, which Bavorov has been holding since 1289. During the 17th century the fortress was rebuilt into a Baroque castle. In the 18th century, a French garden was built on the slope behind the castle. Bechyně’s chateau was held with the estate until the end of the 18th century, when they were forced to sell it to the Benedictines at St. Nicholas in the Old Town of Prague. From 1773 the ownership of estate was changed to Růžena Stenzová, nee Pechová. In 1838 the estate was bought by the merchandise of Prince Rudolf Colloredo-Mansfeld, who joined this estate with his property of village in Dobříš. The last owner of the castle was Mrs. Marie Eiflerová, who bought it together with the surrounding areas just before the Second World War. After the war, the castle served to the local co-operative farmers as offices and apartments, and was ruined due to insufficient care and funding. The proces of rebirth to its original beauty with the castle complex as we know it today “Panství Dlouhá Lhota ” is the clear result of  endeavour and investments.

Wedding ceremony

Civil wedding ceremonies are available on request.

Wedding reception

There are a few options for the wedding reception – outside in the park, in the tent or at the restaurant.

Lodging

They offer rooms “STANDARD” in the main building of the castle „Hotel Panství Dlouhá Lhota“ and if you prefer „modern-style” rooms, they have available Exclusive and Deluxe  rooms at „Konírna“ building („Horse stables“) situated in the courtyard of castle „Hotel Panství Dlouhá Lhota“. Hotel offers total 21 rooms.

About:

In an historical context, the Powder Tower is one of Prague’s most important medieval monuments. This is the place where royal coronation processions would commence. It is also the beginning and end of an important route from Kutná Hora, where silver was mined for the royal coffers. The Powder Tower acquired its current appearance during a refurbishment in the 1880s.

From the 17th century, the new tower served as a storehouse for gunpowder and it has been called the Powder Tower since that time. The Powder Tower gate was erected on the bottom of a defensive moat that was nine metres bellow today’s street level and a bridge originally led up to the gateway.. Some mildly erotic scenes are depicted on the wall of the tower adjacent to the Municipal House. In the same wall, there is a special recess or alcove between floors, which served as a medieval toilet.

Dear Andrea,

this message is to thank you for all you did for our wedding. I will also go over some aspects of it in the spirit of helping you with hopefully constructive comments.

To start with, your own reaction to messages and requests was always immediate and helpful. This was despite the awful cold/flu you got at the end and of course your husband’s broken leg! I must apologise that my own reaction time did not meet your standards!

As regards the Villa Richter, it was a perfect choice. I got only positive comments about the food, the service and the ambiance – and of course the view. Thank you for recommending it to us.

The boat trip was an excellent filler event. It was appreciated by all, especially in that good weather. For our party, the food and drink I believe were adequate.

Helen appears to be quite satisfied with the Make-up and Hair specialist, especially at the reduced price.

It was just the occasion we both wanted and had imagined. Without you it would not have been possible.

Many thanks,

Peter

Dear Andrea!

Oh my God!!!!! It is incredible!!! Leos is incredible!!! Two days and such an amazing video!!! Tears and goosebumps! J said:”two days?!! This man is insane!!” Leos is a treasure!!!!!! Sorry for so many emotions. Love it!!! Feel like running all way to Brno to hug him. Right we want to hire him when we bring our kids to Prague to take a family video.

How are you? How are you feeling? Hopefully better? This nasty cold got on us too but we are not too bad, just hoping that you are feeling better. We spent really nice two days with our families. It was so difficult to leave Mandarin that we even went back cause we forgot our cake:-) still eating it. Soo yammy! Even kids loved it. Yesterday we went to Moravsky kras, it was wow!

If we perhaps could meet you up today or tomorrow for a quick coffee we would be happy. I know you must be busy, so don’t worry too much about it if you can’t. I think we will be back to Mandarin for our honeymoon next summer.

I believe there are still small payments we need to make. I will check everything in detail when we are back home and will do it straight away. Is it ok?

Thank you so much for our day (I’ll say it many more times but this is a quick thanks). You are a treasure too! I can’t believe how lucky we were to find you and that you accepted our request to be our coordinator. You are incredible! Thank you!

With all our love and gratitude,

Jamie and Polina

Message from parents:

Hello dear Andrea,

We do hope that you are feeling much better now. I know Jamie and Polina visited you yesterday, but I needed to add our thanks once again for the most fabulous, magical, emotional and truly extraordinary wedding arranged for our children and families. The Mandarin Oriental Hotel is second to none and outstanding. Tomas and his staff were first class, personal and nothing was too much trouble, we were truly blown away by it all. I truly believe in fate and Polina was meant to have found you, as she said, their guardian angel.
This will stay in our hearts forever and you made it happen.

If anyone I know in the future wishes to do a similar ceremony, you would be at the very top of my list of recommendations, without question. When we met in February, there was snow, and that seems not that long ago now, but you even ordered the weather, which made Prague shine like a jewel in the crown, I loved every minute or every day.

Thank you again, warmth and love to you and your lovely children.

With very best wishes,

Lyn and Martyn Clark xxxx

Hello Andrea,

Yes we loved the whole day, it was even better than we expected! Just sad it is all over! And our guests had nothing but praise for the day and also for you! Thank you so much!! We are glad to hear you thought it was a happy day and hope you managed to enjoy yourself too!

Out of curiosity, what was that delicious red drink you had at the villa richter?

And the photographs look amazing, we are very happy with them. How will we receive them, and the rest, in their full size (they have been compressed a lot and cant be printed out very big)?

Also, a friend of mine is considering getting married abroad and I have passed on your details.  We will be highly recommending you to anyone thinking of a destination wedding!

Thank you again!

Dear Andrea,

so we are back in the US and coming back to the reality. We would just like to write you and thank for all your work at our wedding. I was very pleased and really excited fro the hotel Augustin. They were amazing. It all looked excellent, but especially they were really nice to us and service was much above what we expected. Guests were pleased with the food and even without previous tasting it was great. We already agreed with Chris to come back there for our anniversary :-). Also the flowers were amazing and the whole decor qas exactly as I wanted. Kamila, the stylist, was very nice and professional. Dj played great songs, hopefully we weren´t too boring, but believe we were dancing a lot. Stepan, the photogrpaher, was really great too. I do not like photos much, but with him we had lot of fun and it was easy. We couldn´t choose an better. So, thank you Andrea for great cooperation and we would be very please to recommend your agency to anyone else. I hope to be a guests at one of your weddings :-)…these are just the best in Prague. Hope you are doing well and enjoy some vacation soon.

With regards,

Eva and Chris

Message to the magazine:

We wanted our wedding to be an intimate family and close friends affair but we still wanted it to be fun. We chose Prague in Czech Republic for our wedding  because we’ve visited this city a few times before and were always fascinated by its beauty. It’s so romantic and perfect for a wedding. I am originally from Slovakia, a neighboring country to Czech Republic so Prague was a great location for my family and the guests coming from the United States to meet and celebrate together.

Choosing our venue was a lot harder though. There’s so many beautiful gardens, hotels, and castles to choose from. Unfortunately, due to our busy schedules we were unable to travel to Prague and see venues in person before the wedding. So we chose a wedding agency that has a lot of experience planning weddings in Prague to help us make all the arrangements. This was unbeatably one of the best decisions we’ve made and we highly recommend to have a local wedding planner to anyone planning a destination wedding.

After a year of long-distance planning, skyping and hundreds of emails we were both very anxious to see it all come together when we arrived in Prague. Most importantly, we could not wait to see our venue, the Augustine Hotel. I remember how nervous I was the day we went to see it. Once we got there I was both relived and even more excited for the wedding. The venue was beautiful.  The staff was very friendly and it felt intimate just as we wished. The small hotel near the Prague Castle  has a rich history dating back to the 13th century. It consists of seven buildings surrounding the Saint Thomas Church and Monastery. Few practicing friars still live in an adjoining quarter. Underneath the hotel is a small brewery making the the Saint Thomas beer which was served at our reception.

Our ceremony took place in an intimately enclosed Sundial garden, followed by a cocktail reception. Me and my husband  went to take pictures by the nearby Charles river and in the Wallenstein garden.  The dinner took place in cloistered terrace and was followed by our first dance to Micheal Buble’s “Can’t help falling in love” underneath a 19th century Baroque fresco ceiling of the Litchfield bar. Even though we only had little bit over 30 guests we had lots of fun on the dance floor. Our DJ really did a great job at keeping us dancing.  For us a small wedding worked out great and we loved that we were surrounded by our dearest family and friends and had a chance to talk to everyone. This was something that felt true to us and was the most favorite thing about the wedding.

Dear Tereza,

I am so happy to receive your email!
It’s my first day going back to work and your email has brightened up my day a lot!!!!!

I was wondering if you could get my email I sent to you last week saying a big thank you to you, Bara and Stepan when I was Budapest. Since the internet connection was not very good there but I have got no bounce back notification, I cannot be sure if you have got my email and it has been a week.

Anyway, it’s so nice to hear from you and I would like to say a big thank you to you again! You are just excellent Tereza! You are very professional, efficient and hearty. We will surely recommend you to our friends.
We have had a great time in Prague and it’s you, Bara and Stepan who have helped make our day so special and memorable. We love Prague and will definitely re-visit Prague in future.

Please help extend our sincere thanks to Bara and Stepan, they are just super and wonderful!

Stepan’s photos are great and just right after our hearts. We love the photos and really look forward to more! 🙂

Wish you all the best!

Dear Andrea,

If you look back at January when we met – and I was all nervous and almost wanted to have a wedding Danijel and I. You must be smiling inside.. because you were right.. !! You knew me better then I knew myself. You made my dream become reality. (Just like in the wedding invitation).

We absolutely loved the wedding. All our guest loved it as well. The atmosphere, the music, flowers were gorgeous.

We can’t wait to see the video, so we can relive the day again.

We would really want to have it by 11-12 of July, as we will go to Ukraine and have small dinner party with my grandmother and other family friends from Ukraine, who couldn’t come to the wedding. I really want to show them our wedding video, so they can feel that they were part of it too. Please ask if it is possible to make our video ready by that time.

Hi Andrea,

Thanks a lot for your follow up. First of all, thank you and Tomas very much for arranging the wedding for us. We did think that we had a great wedding at prague! The rain didn’t affect much. And we just returned to Hong Kong 2 days ago. It has been a great trip!

I wish the other couples were not too seriously affected by the flooding. We didn’t know about the flooding until we left Prague to Berlin the next day. We heard that the situation got worse after we left. I feel sorry for this beautiful country.

Oh, we didn’t know our photographer also took photos for your other clients. Did they arrange a very different wedding from us?

Hi Andrea,

I just want to thank you once again for organizing such a great wedding for us. We all had fun and our guests speak greatly about our wedding.

It was definitely nerve-racking to have wedding oversea, especially in a city where I have never been to before. However, you really made the process as worry-free as possible. Both Kevin and I feel very fortunate to have you as our wedding planner. It has always been our dream to get married in Prague and thank you for making our dream came true 🙂

You are more than welcome to contact me for future reference, I’ll certainly say a lot of great thing about you.

Best Regards,

Penny

Everything turned out just like I pictured it, from the ceremony and reception at Zofin Garden, to the flowers, food and decorations. Every detail was perfectly planned and wonderful, and all of our guests had such an amazing experience!

Tereza, you went above and beyond with all of your efforts in planning our wedding. You were able to understand exactly what we wanted, and the level of service you provided was exceptional. Our wedding in Prague would not have been the same without you!
