About:

The coal mill (Uhelny mlyn) building dates back to the 1930’s. Coal mills have always been a stamp of the engineering industry. We can see how they’re still present in evolving technology, like in the boiler room (Kotelna).

Both buildings were built from bricks from the local Fischer brothers construction company, burnt from locally mined clay and are interconnected with the now inoperable underground shaft, which used to transport coal dust.

With technological advancements, the previous use for the Úhelný mlýn was lost and it was retired from use and transformed into an storage building for office supplies. The fate of Úhelný mlýn was indefinitely sealed after the floods in 2002. The new age and revival of the building came when projects for its renovation came in 2010.

Hi Andrea,

Hope you have a great time in Italy !

Sorry not getting back sooner to you but I was very busy with my Mum’s health these few last days. She’s still in poor physical condition and going through plenty of medical examinations.

We wanted, Lisa and I, to thank you for the great job you did for us and wish you the very best for the future.

Do not hesitate to ask for advice concerning your new website…I’ll be very much interested to see what will happen with it.

Everybody of our guests was happy and appreciated the very good organization of our wedding day. I think the few Russian traditions which we had to go through, made it even more authentic and friendly. The weather turned to very good from our wedding day and everybody could enjoy the city under a great sun.

I was surprised Jean-Luc from the French embassy finally didn’t come.  He’s in France at this time.

We’ll keep in touch for the papers business

Here are a few ones made by friends and family.

Take care, Andrea

Bruno.
