Hi Andrea,

Thanks again for the amazing wedding planning! Yunjun and I wrote a review for you to post on your website or blog:

We would like to express our sincerest gratitude to Andrea and her team for organizing the most special day of our lives. Everything was beyond expectation, and I don’t know how it could have been more perfect. A destination wedding sounds very stressful to many people, but from the beginning we knew we had nothing to worry about because Andrea had a plan for everything, made sure that every single detail was taken care of, always kept us in the loop. Also, she never said no to any one of our crazy ideas and always found creative ways to make everything we wanted possible. Andrea has great taste in style and gave us many design inspirations that made our wedding truly chic and unique. All our guests had a great time and many told us that it was the most beautiful wedding they’ve ever been to.

Cheers!

Dani

Dear Andrea

What can we say?  You made our Wedding Day the absolute best day of our lives!  It was amazing, we loved it so much!

We have no idea how you did most of the things that happened… things just appeared as if by magic, everyone and everything were exactly where they were meant to be!  We think that secretly you are a magician!

It was so amazing not to have to think about, let alone worry about, anything at all on the day.

Don’t know how you sorted out the weather – you certainly must have connections!

So many amazing things…

  • Yasmin – perfect hotel
  • Boat trip – awesome get together
  • Špejle – great recommendation for family meal on Monday (there were 18 of us and everyone loved it!)
  • Michal – he was just PERFECT.  Everyone loved him
  • Aristoquartet – there are no words!  Especially letting Kirsty play with them!
  • Lukas and Jana – brilliant – cannot wait to see the photos!
  • Malik and Tomas – so nice, really looking forward to seeing the video
  • Villa Richter – awesome, amazing venue, food, hosts – special big shout out to Peter and the Sommelier (can’t remember his name), they were always there with drinks and a smile!
  • Jitka – so calm, made everyone feel at ease and look beautiful
  • Radka, just lovely to everyone
  • Veronika (flowers) – everyone commented how lovely they were, especially the ‘nod’ to Scotland… they were exactly what we wanted
  • Veronika (cake) – it was perfect, again, just what we wanted – we are still eating it!!! Delicious!
  • Tram ride – such a great idea, thank you for the suggestion! Great start to the day
  • Cars – on time, no worries, nice drivers, no hassle
  • Roulette – we would recommend this to everyone, brilliant fun.  Mark’s Mum had never played, but now she is hooked!
  • SmyBox – awesome memories and especially kept the kids entertained – we have hundreds of pics!
  • Dance Mat – great fun… he is just too good at it!
  • DJ equipment – exactly right
  • Evening food (see Villa Richter) – but cheese was amazing!

but most of all…

  • YOU!

It was all the little things as well as the big ticket items, we literally could not have done it without you.

If we can write a testimonial on your site or anywhere please let us know, we just want to make sure that anyone wanting to get married in Prague chooses you!

We hope we can meet up with you next time we are in Prague or of course if you ever want to come to Dubai!

Please find attached a little gift from us, we hope you enjoy it.

Looking forward to photos, videos, marriage licence etc etc!

But for now, HUGE THANK YOU!!!

Lots of love,

Mark and Kirsty xxx

Ploskovice chateau

Facts:

• type of ceremony – civil, church (protestant), symbolic

• available dates and time – on request

• ceremonies can take place in the French garden or inside at one of the amazing halls

• capacity of the hall is up to 80, approx

• length of the ceremony is around 25 min

• civil ceremony is in Czech, translated into English (or any other language), church or symbolic ceremony in any language

About:

Anna Maria Franziska of the Palatinate (née Saxe-Lauenburg, 1672–1741) had this Baroque country house built prior to 1720; it was finished in 1725. Apart from the main hall, the most significant room is the sala terrena underneath. The grottoes connecting to the garden on the ground floor have fountains with sculptural decoration in the shape of Hercules, water deities, sea monsters and angels which are quite remarkable. The Duchess, who after the death of her first husband married the Tuscan Grand Duke, Gian Gastone III, the last male descendent of the Medici family, ran a costly court at Ploskovice. In the 1730s the French terrace garden was remodelled. A gloriette, shown in its 19th century incarnation, serves as a bellevue. In 1764 the house was altered in Rococo style and in 1773 further building alterations were made to the house and greenhouse in the garden. The composition of the garden was simplified from 1816. During a Neo-Baroque reconstruction from 1850–3 for the abdicated ruler Emperor Ferdinand V the upper floor was raised, and pavilions appeared at the end of the Baroque arcade corridors, as well as a new northern portico. The garden was changed into a landscape park and servants quarters grew up after 1816 on the site of a destroyed earlier house.

Church of Our Lady

Facts:

• wedding ceremonies lasts around 30 min without holy mass or around 60 min with holy mass

• ceremonies are in English

• at least one of you must be baptised Roman-catholic

• available dates – any day, latest at 4.00 p.m.

• capacity of approx. 150 people

About:

The Church of Mother of God before Týn (in Czech Kostel Matky Bozi pred Tynem, also Tynsky chram), often translated as Church of Our Lady before Tyn, is a dominant feature of the  Old Town of Prague, and has been the main church of this part of the city since the 14th century. The church’s towers are 80 m high and topped by four small spires.

In the 11th century, this area was occupied by a Romanesque church, which was built there for foreign merchants coming to the nearby Tyn Courtyard. Later it was replaced by an early Gothic  Church of Our Lady before Týn in 1256.  The church was controlled by Hussites for two centuries. The roof was completed in the 1450s, while the gable and northern tower were completed shortly thereafter during the reign of George of Podebrady.

After the lost Battle of White Mountian (1620) began the era of harsh recatholicisation. In 1679 the church was struck by lightning, and the subsequent fire heavily damaged the old vault, which was later replaced by a lower baroque vault.

Renovation works carried out in 1876–1895 were later reversed during extensive exterior renovation works in the years 1973–1995.

The early baroque altarpiece has paintings by Karel Skreta from around 1649. The oldest pipe organ in Prague stands inside this church. The organ was built in 1673 by Heinrich Mundt and is one of the most representative 17th-century organs in Europe.

St. Cyrillus and Methodius

Facts:

• type of ceremony – orthodox

• available dates and times – anytime, 10.00 a.m. – 3.00 p.m.

• capacity of the church is approx. 60 people

• length of the ceremony is around 30 min

• wedding ceremony can be in English or Russian

About:

An orthodox Church of St. Cyrillus and Methodius is well known through its crypt which in 1942 was the last hiding site of seven Czechoslovak paratroopers (members of the British Commandos) sent from England to take part in the underground resistance movement against the Nazi rule installed after the occupation of the Czech lands by the German armed forces in 1939. Their hiding followed the assassination of the top Nazi whose name was Reinhardt Heydrich (the Nazi Protector of the Czech lands and their real ruler). The assassination carried out by two of the hiding paratroopers made the Nazis furious and led to their brutal revenge including the levelling to the ground of Lidice, the village near Prague. As for the inhabitants of the village: all men (173 of them) were shot dead, women sent to a concentration camp and the majority of children gassed (a few of them given to German families for “re-education”). As a pretext for this atrocity it was claimed by the Nazis that the village co-operated with the assassins. This was not true, no evidence of this co-operation ever existed, the village was selected as a target of the Nazi revenge just at random.

The hiding place of the paratroopers was at last betrayed; one morning the church was besieged by the Nazi troops and after a fight lasting the whole morning the paratroopers ran out of ammunition and all seven committed suicide.

Valtice

About

Valtice is name of a small town and amazing chateau in Moravia, approx. 2,5 hours from Prague. It belongs to the Lednice-Valtice area, complex of beautiful nature, historical buildings and of course wine everywhere. Valtice Chateau was the family seat of the Lords of Liechtenstein,  Lednice Chateau was their summer residence, which replaced  an earlier fort  in the early 17th century.

Wedding ceremony and reception

There are many options where to hold ceremony and reception:

Chateau Valtice

– wedding ceremony can be hold in rich decorated chateau chapel, beautiful park or one of the chateau hall

– chapel has separate entrance from the ground floor of the main building

– wedding reception can be in representative Dancing hall, largest space of the chateau

– wine tasting of more then 100 samples can be arranged in Salon Vin (Wine saloon), located in the chateau

Rendez-Vous

– hunting lodge, located 3 km from Valtice, was built around the two chateaux. It is a complex of hunting lodges, viewing platforms, farm buildings abd other landscape elements built on swamp land, dried out artificially

– beautiful hall on the top floor can be rented for both ceremony or reception

Colonnade Reisten (Rajstna)

– the colonnade, built on Homole hill called Reisten or Rajstna, with Corinthian columns, built to a rectangular plan, resembles  a triumphal arch due to an attic elevated in the middle part

– art form of the colonnade was probably inspired by a gloriette in the Schonbrunn palace garden in Vienna

– visitors can enjoy extraordinary view from the viewing terrace – view over the territory of three countries – neighbouring with Lower Austria where the colonnade was placed at the time of its creation, from Moravia we can see the town of Mikulov with a castle and Saint Hill, the largest Moravian pond called Nesyt as well as the Pálava Mountains with  the highest peak Devin (550 m), Devicy Castle ruins, and a minaret in Lednice Castle Park. From the then Hungaria (today in Slovakia) the Little Carpathians can be seen, while the town of Valtice and Falkenstein Castle ruins on the horizon once belonged to Lower Austria.

Accommodation can be arranged in many intimate pensions or hotels.

Hi girls!

Thank you so much for giving us the best day of our lives! We are just so happy with everything you have done for us!

I thought I`d give you a little resumè of everything, as we spoke about.

Hard Rock Cafè:

Very professional and serviceminded! Please tell Petra that we were so happy with everything there! And also very nice of Bara to take the time to come there to make sure everything was good.

Bara K:

Also SO happy with her! Could not have been any better!

Pavlina and assistant:

Haven’t gotten the photos yet, but I think we will be very happy! She was very passionate about her work, and we had good chemistry 🙂 Really appreciated that she joined us the extra two hours.

Andelin:

Please let them know that we are extremely satisfied with them! They were so professional, and did a great job with the kids corner. Anna, the babysitter for Kristina and Karoline was also extremely professional and nice!

Regina/fire-show

Wow!!!! It was just amazing! Really worth every penny! One of the highlights this day, for sure.

Marketa:

Very nice work! I was hoping for a little bit sharper colors in the bridal bouquet, but everything was lovely, so it really doesn`t matter! She had made everything beautifully!

Tram69:

OMG! The best band ever! They really deserve a lot of credit! Also one of the top highlights the whole day!

And of course, Andrea & Bara, we cannot even begin to describe how happy we are that we chose exclusiveweddingsinprague! The two of you (and Misa) just deserves all the credit we can give to you! Thank you SO much for everything! I would be happy to write a really good recommendation for you to post at your website, just let me know how I will do it.

Have a good night.

All the best from Silje & Torbjørn

US couple, 20 guests

Hi Andrea,

Thank you so much for making our wedding such a beautiful experience! On our day, I was just going with the flow of everything and didn’t cry because I keep things internal and calm during big events like this. But watching these videos, and reliving everything from a view outside of my own eyes, I cried! It is so amazing! Otabek and Mikhail did such a lovely job of the video and they were really nice to work with. I am so grateful for their generosity in providing the entire wedding footage. I was waiting for everything before I sent individual and detailed testimonial to all of our wedding team (Otash, Bara & George), especially kudos for you. I will send that by early next week 🙂

That choir was absolutely outstanding and gorgeous. I couldn’t believe it. Wow.

Father Pavek is such a kind and special person and we are so thankful and honoured that he married us.

Prague is very different from the other European cities we have visited and we loved it the most. Can’t wait for a “anniversary” trip back!

Thank you and I will be in touch again with testimonials 🙂

All the best,

Rita

Hi Bara,

“We had the most amazing wedding in Prague with Exclusive Wedding. The team had done an excellent job on organizing the wedding end to end. We’ve never been to Prague before the wedding, but I’ve never had a moment felt out of our control when liaising with our wedding planner. The team had ensured everything well organized before our arrival and I can say our wedding is stress free and you can totally depend on Exclusive Wedding, highly recommend.

Thanks

About:

The splendid 20th century neo-Baroque Boccaccio Ballroom is the meeting place for hosting exclusive events for up to 160 people. The “Boccaccio” marble restaurant hall comes across in a truly fairytale manner, intimate and aristocratic in its Rococo style, with its galleries, boxes and dance floor. What a delightful work of artistic architecture this is with its beautiful stucco and rich decoration of the ceiling presents one with an especially pleasant and unforgettable stay for its visitors thanks to the subdued lighting and discreet melodic music seductively inviting one to dance.

Boccaccio is located in the basement and is linked to the café by a corridor. For visitors not staying at the hotel, there is an entrance leading directly from the street., …..And when the enticing sounds of dance music can be heard coming from Boccaccio in the afternoon and evening, the street in front of the entrance soon fill up with beautiful cars, as the “Five o’clock teas” and “Soireé dansantes” and domestic balls in the Boccaccio hall, soon became the place for regular rendezvous of the whole mondaine Prague society.”

Boccaccio really was a sought-after place among Prague society and not only during the time of the First Republic, but also for several years after World War Two. Jan Masaryk, the Czech foreign minister had a permanently reserved box here on the first floor and the box neighbouring this was reserved for the American ambassador to what was at that time the CSR.

The Boccaccio Ballroom has been restored to all its 1925 splendour as well as the magnificent original parquet floor, beneath a hand-made gold leafed glass chandelier with 4.000 parts.

About:

The Konopiste castle is located 44 km south-east of Prague (60 min driving). Castle was originally founded as a gothic fortress guarding a nearby town of Benesov. Being founded at the end of the 13th century by Tobias of Benesov, it was built at the beginning of the 14th century, following the model of french castles called “castels”.

The first touch to a medieval structure of the castle was made in the 15th century by Jiri (George) of Sternberk and was followed by Hodejovsky family in the 17th century, who converted the castle into a renaissance mansion. However, the most significant alteration took place in the 18th when members of the Vrtba family rebuilt the castle into a baroque residence.

The utterly most important and famous owner of the Konopiste Castle was the archduke Fratisek (Franz) Ferdinand d’Este, a successor to the Austro-Hungarian throne whose assassination in Sarajevo in 1914 became a pretext of the the World War I. This man bought the Konopiste domain in 1887 from the Lobkowitzs family and converted it into a magnificent seat of a Heir.

The Chambers were richly decorated with the collections inherited from the Modena’s archdukes of d’Este and numerous hunting trophies hanging on the walls as silent witnesses of Franz Ferdinand´s hunting passion.

Trebesice

About

Discover the unique magic of a place, where past and present, history and future, nature and culture are bound together in an unique mix. Chateau Trebesice is a small renaissance country chateau with its own homw farm, a wonderful complex of landmark buildings from various ages, on extensive grounds rich of water features and gorgeous gardens, just 90 min driving from Prague.

You may explore the beauties of bohemian countryside in the comfort of a very special private home, surrounded by historical buildings, contemporary art and bounty of flowers.

You can enjoy uniqiue experience of staying in a renaissance chateau. Trebesice is not a hotel, but a private house lived in by its owners and opened to demanding guests. You will discover a rich, vibrant mix of historic, authentic atmosphere and contemporary art works which no photo can convey, stroll and relax in our english country style gardens.

Just four, very special suites are available, each unique, with its own different views, site specific artworks and feeling. You may pick up the one which suits your taste or try them all, one by one.

Every space is flooded by sunlight coming from every side and reflections from the water in the moat surrounding the castle on three sides.

Wedding ceremony

Ceremony can be arranged basically anywhere at the chateau.

Wedding reception

The three main common spaces of the chateau (The main hall, the breakfast room and the library) are large enough to cater for large event, preserving at the same time a very intimate, domestic scale and lots of cozy corners.

The main building dates back to XVI centur, with 3 wings and 2 towers, and it is surrounded by a water moat.

Plan of the owners are more ambitious – they imagine a large series of different gardens, taking up step by step all the outdoor spaces between tge various buildings, each garden with itw own feeling and atmosphere. Main models and inspirations are the wonderful gardens of England, created through the XX century around old country houses and manors with endless fantasy and invention and the „potagers“ or ornamental kitchen gardens of France, where vegetables are grown for their beauty too, mixed with flowers.

Starting from 2003 czech and international artists have been invited to stay at Trebesice, in individua lor group residences, for a few weeks or some months, to create artworks and site specific installations. The owners believe contemporary art os the best way to bring back new life and new sense to old buildings which have been made empty by recent history and aimless by the changes in agricultural technologies.

Hello Andrea:

We are finally settling back into regular life in Canada! Jeremiah came down with a sinus infection right when we returned and between that and unpacking and family events, we have been quite busy. We can’t believe it was only two weeks ago that we were sitting and having lunch together at Kotleta!

We both wanted to thank you once again for your amazing support, help, encouragement and the coordination that you provided throughout the last year, and most importantly, during our actual wedding celebrations. All of our guests commented on how professional, calm, and pleasant you were, and I know that both of us so appreciated how you handled everything on October 5; all the small requests and last minute changes. At the end, when people here in Canada ask us how things went for the wedding, we respond: “better than we could have planned or imagined”. You and your assistant truly handled everything and it was absolutely magical for us. The guests said that everything was like an actual fairytale!

Also, Dmitri had said it would take a few months to get all the photos over to us, but we were wondering if you could please ask him if its possible for us to have one or two of his favorite shots now (preferably from the ceremony)? We want to mail thank you cards to everyone who sent us a gift (and some of them weren’t at the wedding) and so we wanted to send along a few printed photos. Can you please check with him if its possible?

Also, Leos and his assistant were amazing!! Do you have any idea when we can expect the “highlights” video?? I know Leos said the full video would take around six months, but I remember something about the highlight video being much soon? We are waiting every day for that haha!

Thank you again!

Regards,

Monika & Jeremiah

Dear Andrea

We have finally gotten to sit down and reflect upon our wedding day and we would like to share some impressions with you, especially as you could not had been there in person.

Firstly and foremostly, we would like to highlight the fantastic professionalism and friendliness of Bara, who managed the whole day with absolute grace and was simply amazing. This impression was not only our own, but many of our guests told us how lovely and professional she was during the event. We would like to acknowledge her for also keeping us confident that all will go well from the start of the day until the very end when we were closing up. Especially so as she had no sleep the night before, she was a real trooper and you must be really glad to have her in your team! We also appreciate Misa for stepping in at such short notice. Thank you and well done.

Secondly, thank you for the fantastic preparation of the day. We know you would had loved to be there in person and are sorry you couldn’t. Glad to know though that you and your family feel better. We must also acknowledge the recommendations you made regarding photos and video – having Petr, Zina and Libor there was great fun and the pictures are amazing.

Thirdly, DJ messer was also fun and obviously enjoyed our choice of funk based tunes, it was great 🙂

Fourthly, villa richter’s staff were professional and our guests reflected upon that as well. We would like to thank them for that.

Fotonaut – a real hit!

Last but not least – what a ride! Thank you for working through all the preparations with us and making our best day of our lives happen in such a style! Thank you, Andrea!!!

Best wishes for now,

Bara and Pete

UK – Japanese couple

Hi Andrea,

Hiro and I had been together 8 years when he proposed on my birthday whilst on holiday in Mauritius. The last 18 months have been the most fun planning our wedding to each other !

When we visited Prague to look at venues we instantly fell in love with Vrtbovska Gardens & Villa Richter and knew they would both help in making the day so special, from the perfectly landscaped gardens to the amazing view of Prague from the villa

With Hiro being half Japanese we decided to incorporate some of his heritage into our special day and had origami birds as a theme to the day, they were everywhere,;to place settings, on the cakes and as the background to our hilarious smilebox.

We knew from the start that we wanted to put something special on for our guests who travelled from all over to Prague for the weekend, so after the ceremony we sent them on a tour of Prague by historical tram all the way  up to the castle which they could then walk through to get to the reception venue.

Our wish that people enjoyed plenty to eat and drink so the alternative wedding cakes which consisted of carrot cake and red velvet cake went down a treat, and everyone loved the cheese bar for desert.

Andrea our wedding planner did a fantastic job of making sure everything was perfect on the day, the tables looked wonderful with their navy table cloths and birdcages or flower arrangements.

The roses, peonies and hydrangea which are my favourite flowers all looked amazing on the day !

The highlight for the guests was the smilebox, everyone spent their night their taking pictures with the funny props but for us it had to be our first dance to John Legend’s All Of Me. We’ve loved this song for a long time and it was the perfect song for us, and the fact that everyone began singing along with us make it all so intimate and emotional.

Hi Andrea,

Thank you very much for your arrangements and being so nice to us (especially for your patient w/ my many of questions :p). We are still enjoying the moment 😀

Would you please help us to thanks the Officiator, Michal, and the cameraman, Marek, once more again (I m not sure I recall their names correctly, sorry). As they do really good job in our ceremony, and we are looking forward to the videos too :).

Also, would you please help to let Mark knows that we are not going to disclose our wedding ceremony videos and pics on our Facebook yet, it is because I told my relatives that we will marriage in Sep (of course my mom knows we do it in June), and I told them this trip is only for pre-wedding photos. And I will let Mark knows when and which videos he can upload to Facebook later.

Once again, thanks a lot. Wish your business keeps doing well. 😀

Cheers,

Elliott
