We were really pleased that son of Sir Nicholas George Winton chose us to organise his wedding. Great honor for us! Thank you for ever!
Dear Andrea
I am slowly coming up for air.
The last week has been a whirlwind and so full of emotion and excitement and from being surrounded by our friends.
The whole event was incredible and we are both so grateful to you for your very large part in making it such a success.
Many of our guests have commented on what an extra-ordinary wedding it was and how much they enjoyed themselves.
We would love it if you and your husband would enjoy the other 10 bottles – although we would have loved to share them with you as we enjoyed your company and hope we will meet again either in the UK or in Prague.

Ahoj Andreo,
moc děkujeme za mail.
A ještě jednou velké díky tobě, za naprosto skvělou organizaci a pevné nervy 🙂 Vím, že to se mnou nebylo jednoduché. My, i všichni ostatní zúčastnění jsme si to moc užili – i díky tobě!
Ještě jednou díky a kdybys cokoliv potřebovala, dej vědět.
Judita & Michal
Hi Andrea,
thank you for your email aboslutelly excellent organisation and strong nerves. I know it was not easy. We all did enjoy it a lot – and also thanks to you.
Once again thank you and should you need anything, just let us know.
Thank you very very! YOU ARE AMAZING! We are very very grateful for whatever you have done for us. We will have pictures at the end of June and photographer will send them to you :-).
Everything was superamazing! We did it more then enjoy.
Hinki and Etin had absolutelly stunning wedding in Prague, their big day was featured also in Hong Kong edition of Elle magazine!
Couple stayed at lovely apartments in the city centre, where their big day started traditional Chinese tea ceremony.
Later on all moved to Vrtbovska garden, where Hinki and Etin received blessing. It is always pleasure for couple and photographer to enjoy photos at Vrtbovska garden, so pretty there….
Couple used horse and carriage to take more photos, while the other guests walked to Mandarin Oriental. Cocktails and canapees were served, guests enjoeyd lovely garden while waiting for the couple.
Hinki changed her dress for festive entrance to the Grand ballroom, where the dinner was served after couple of speeches. Lovely turquoise dress was used for the first dance, couple trained really hard. We cut the cake later and after it was already time to leavem since the couple left i their honeymoon early in the morning.
Dominika and Kenny got married in June couple years ago. From the first skype call I knew this will be special wedding. Dominika has her design blog, loves beautiful things and also studied design.
Dominika was born in the US, but her parents are originally from Slovakia, Kenny has German and US parents, so weddings guests were mix from all these countries.
It was pretty easy to choose vendors, Dominika used the top from wedding market here. Also it was pretty easy to decide for the ceremony and reception venue, Villa Richter is amazing place with one of the best views in Prague.
Bride with bridesmaids and mums got ready at Villa Richter, logistically it was much easier and they didn´t have to worry about dress getting wrinkled in a car.
To describe a bit design – modern, elegant, fresh whimsical style:
– colours – white, cream in shades, soft pink in shades, peach in shades, orange, leaf green, copper and gold in accent, paradise colours
– ceremony arch was a bit more modern, less typical shape, at the last moment we decided to change the chair colour for the ceremony
– white furniture to create lounge area during the cocktail at the vineyard and also later in the evening on the terrace
– to make cocktail more classy, we served canapees before ceremony, after the ceremony finger food, cheese bar with selection of French cheeses and Iberico ham cut by chef. Special cocktail for Her and Him was created by Villa´s bartender.
– frames decorated by fresh flowers were used instead of photobooth, photos were taken by Polaroid and inserted into the guest book
– greenery wall used instead of traditional seating plan
– mix of round and long ables were used for the reception, dance floor in the middle
– beautiful golden cutlery and glass charger plates
– we used Villa´s greenery as a background for sweet bar
– cigar corner with fine whiskey and cognac on the terrace
Music plays an important role, classical trio performed during the ceremony and cocktail, band during the dinner and DJ commenced for night party. Breaks between the courses were filled by speeches and dances.
Cake and sweet bar was opened for the dessert time and after that we moved to Piano Nobile for late party.
We really love and enjyoed this wedding, not just for the design, but also because of such a nice people at the wedding.
Dominika and Kenny, wishing you lots of love and happiness!
Lucy and Serge live in Beirut, Lebanon. but Lucy has also czech roots and this is why they decided to get married here.
Lucy is owner of travel agency and travels ot Prague occasionally, so we had a chance to visit different locations aroud Prague, which was couples preference. Lucy just falled in love with Capi hnizdo, luxury farm nearby Prague, where you can easily spend lovely day.
We decided for the following plan – the whole day started by blessing at St. Nicholas church. Couple spent some time by taking photos after the blessing and civil ceremony at the Old Town Hall followed short after. Althought we told guests that they do not need to join the civil ceremony if they do not want, everyone showed up!
Most of the guests stayed at Intercontinental hotel, so the buses picked up guests there. Newlyweds continued to take photos around Prague and joined us a bit later. Guests enjoyed canapees, cocktails, walked around the area – there is amazing lake, little ZOO, playground for children etc.
Lucy and Serge wanted to enter the reception area on horses, like Cinderella. Guests absolutelly didn´t expect it and loved it! The guests were invited to the reception area to get seated, but outside stayed closest friends of the couple. Not forget to mention – couple brought their DJ from Beirut. Very good DJ who ordered technical equipment that could easily serve party for 1000 people! What a sound, amazing!
We really liked the entrance of the newlyweds – first entered groom with his friends by traditional song and dancing, waiting for bride and her friends. They entered the same way and all guests made a circle around newlyweds to hold them in the air on the chairs.
Dinner started after this special entrance, couple decided for less formal buffet style. One big wish was from the groom – serve double shots from the beginning. Lucy and Serge really wanted the best for their guests.
Daddy cool – special song for bride and father dance was played during the dinner. Lucy has great relationship with her father and this song was for him.
Cake was cut later in the evening and after it were already ready buses that took guests back to Prague. Many guests left the day after, so coupe decided not to stay at Capi hnizdo and go back to Prague.
Lucy and Serge, you are amazing and will always stay in our hearts!
We were looking for the wedding of Klara and Chris many months. Klara was born in Czech Republic, but has been living in the US for many years, Chris is American. They didn´t manage to come to Prague before the wedding day, so they left everything on us and we discussed the whole wedding via email and phone calls.
Guests arrived from all around the world, so we started all the celebrations by pre-wedding dinner at White Horse, lovely place at the Old Town Square. just before I arranged for them rehearsal at Villa´s Richter vineyard and honestly, I was really blessing that the weather will get better. We stayed at the vineyard in terrible rain, cold weather and noone believed it will get better….But – as in most of the cases – good luck was on our side and rain was over and even sun shined a bit on Saturday.
Beautiful ceremony at the vineyard was followed by cocktail in the garden and then reception at the tent of Villa Richter. We made classical american entrance – guests were seated first, then entered parents followed by bridesmaids and ushers and then finally newlyweds – all announced by DJ. They enjoyed their first dance immediatelly and after welcome speech dinner was served. The breaks between the courses were filled either by speeches or dancing.
At the end of the dinner couple cut the cake and DJ commenced at the Piano Nobile. Lots of drinks, evening snack and sweets and mainly dancing – that was the aim till the late night.
Klara and Chris, looking forward to our drink in Prague.
Sincerelly yours,
Andrea

Michaela and Stone, couple with very interesting life. Most of the time living at the locations with no roads, accessible, by plane, boat or bicycle, saving lifes of natives in Australia, Christmas island etc. Blondie with czech and swedish roots and African, both with great dark sence of humour.
Couple decided for chateau Loucen as their ceremony and reception venue. They do not see sunflowers at the places where they live, so selection of flowers was easy.
Friday was already lot of fun – pre-wedding diner was helds at Detenice resort, medieval tavern with fakirs, jugglers, dancers with snake etc. All the guests arrived in the morning and stayed at the castle, which was very special for them.
Many guests came from Africa, many from Sweden and the rest from all around the world. All what Michaela and Stone wanted was to have great time with their family and friends, since they really do not see them often. And that happened for sure. After symbolic ceremony guests enjoyed cocktail in the garden, while newlyweds left for photos. Dinner with local specialities followed after and then was party until the morning.

About:
Troja Chateau is a grandiose 17th century affair, complete with French gardens, Baroque sculptures, splendid vaulted ceilings and a wonderfully detailed (illusionist) mural in its Grand Hall.
The chateau’s most prominent feature, an overblown, yet still impressive external (horse-shoe shaped) staircase, leads from its main entrance to the formal French gardens below. Ornamented by statues of the ancient gods of Olympus triumphing over the Titans, a multitude of Baroque figures adorn both wings of the staircase, while the balustrades incorporate two of the rebellious giants in battle.
Inside, the Chateau’s richly decorated (and fully restored) interior sets the scene for what is undoubtedly the highlight of any tour – the Grand Hall. Painted from floor to ceiling, the room is a gushing tribute to the Hapsburg Dynasty, with frescoes depicting the triumph of Emperor Leopold I’s forces over the ‘infidel’ Turks. Elsewhere, the top part of the Hall displays murals portraying the bravery, wisdom and success of the Austro-Hungarian empire of the age.
The Grand Hall is used for only selected type of events for very prestigious groups. Stable hall, the previous stables with baroque frescos, is another great place to make your wedding receptions, with the capacity up to 220 persons. Chateau garden is also very popular for wedding celebrations.

About:
St. Vitus’s Cathedral is the largest and the most important church in Prague. Apart from divine services the coronations of Czech kings and queens also took place in it. The remains of provincial patron saints, sovereigns, noblemen and archbishops are interred here.
The cathedral is the third church consecrated to the same saint on the identical site. About the year 925 Prince Vaclav I founded a Romanesque rotunda here which after 1060 was converted into a triple-naved basilica with two steeples. The importance of the cathedral grew especially after the establishment of the Prague bishopric in 973 and the founding of the body of canons – the St. Vitus chapter, which later became an important cultural and administrative institution.
In 1344 Charles IV began the construction of a Gothic cathedral. Its first builders, Matthias of Arras and later Peter Parler, built the choir with a ring of chapels, St. Wenceslas’s Chapel, the Golden Portal and the lower part of the main steeple. In spite of the endeavours of some sovereigns to secure the continuation of the construction work the cathedral remained uncompleted for whole centuries.
It was not until the latter half of the 19th century that the Union for the Completion of the Building of St. Vitus’s Cathedral began the repair of the original part and the completion of the building of the cathedral in Neo-Gothic style. The cathedral was solemnly consecrated in 1929. Its interior was subjected to adaptations even in later years.
Situated in the choir of the cathedral, in front of the high alter, is the royal mausoleum below which, in the crypt, there is the royal tomb. The choir is surrounded by a ring of Gothic chapels. Czech sovereigns and patron saints are interred in some of them.

About:
The Strahov Monastery (Strahovsky Klaster) started its long itinerary through history with establishment of the Premonstratensians, a religious order of canons founded in 1120 by St Norbert as an independent part of the Catholic church. By the year 1182 a Romanesque stone monastery was built on the place of an older foundation of Prince Vladislav II (from 1140). It’s peace was disturbed by a fire in 1258, when the church was destructed almost totally. A reconstruction in the Gothic style followed, but that was not to last either, as Baroque retouches were added during the beginning of the 18th century. In the meanwhile the abbey was plundered first by the Hussites and during the Thirty Years’ War by a regiment of the Swedish army. The last but not least hit that the abbey had to take was the bombardment of the church’s premises by the French, in 1742. After the Communist regime ended, the abbey was returned to the Premonstratensians in 1989. The Strahov Monastery it is not only an active place of pilgrimage but also a valuable museum and a famous library, still holding an unbelievable number of rare volumes.

About:
The Basilica of St Peter and St Paul is a neo-Gothic church in Vysehrad fortress in Prague.
Originally founded in 1070-1080 by the Czech King Vratislav II., the Romanesque basilica suffered a fire in the year 1249 and has been rebuilt in Gothic and later in neo-Gothic style. The basilica features an impressive stone mosaic above its entry, and its twin 58 m towers can be seen atop a hill to the south from along the Vltava River in central Prague.
Behind the church is located large park and Vysehrad cemetery, the final resting place of many famous Czechs. In 2003 the church was elevated to basilica by Pope John Paul II.
History is the dominant element thematically of the interior décor; the history of art, Christianity and the Czech lands are all aspects of the decoration. As a piece of art history the church is something of an exhibition of Gothic, art nouveau and even Baroque pieces.

About:
St. Thomas church was constructed by the Benedictines along with the chapel of St. Dorothy in 1228. In 1285 when Vaclav II was in power, a new Order called Ordo eremitarum sancti Augustini (Order of St. Augustine’s Hermits) settled in the church on the king’s invitation.
The biggest reconstruction of the monastery area began in 1550 and was completed during the 30-year war. In the Rudolfine age, the monastery became an important spiritual centre for all catholic members of the empire. During the 18th century, the church and the convent gained the appearance they have today. A remarkable architecture complex was built encompassing three constructional stages in a quite organic way: Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque.
As was the case with other monasteries in 1950, even the friars of St. Thomas were forced to end their monastery lives. They were evicted and the convent was turned into a retirement home. The revitalization in the 70s was only aimed at the church. After 1990, the last large repair was done including a replacement of the truss, which was infected by the woodworms.

We so enjoyed meeting you and getting to know you. When you visit the States, please look us up. You could stay in our Provincetown cottage on the ocean! Something to think about.

About:
After King John of accorded the citizens of Prague the privilege of having their own district council in 1338, they decided to build a Town hall, paid for by a duty levied on wine. The almost 70 meters high tower was completed in 1364. Due to continuous expansions, the building now is a colourful collection of gothic and renaissance-style facades.
The first clock of the Town hall dates back to the beginning of the 15th century. Clock maker Hanus, who perfectioned the construction in 1490 was – according to the legend – made blind by the city council to prevent him from a more beautiful clock elsewhere. Most of the mechanism still used today is made by Jan Taborsky between 1552 and 1572.
The clock is a magnet for tourists, especially just before the hour, when the twelve apostles march past. The skeleton on the right, depicting Death, starts the show by pulling on a string. In the meantime he looks at his other hand, in which he holds an hourglass. then, two windows open, from where the apostles march. After the ritual, a cock crows, other figures symbolize vanity, heathenism and parsimony.
Below the apostles is the astronomical clock, which has the earth in the middle of the universe. The clock was created to show the presumed rotation of the sun and the moon the earth. The clock also shows the movement of the sun and the moon to the signs of zodiac. Below the astronomical clock is a calendar. The calendar, built by Josef Manes in 1866, shows the days of the year together with symbolic pictures of the months of the year.
We have finally returned home, sorry to keep you waiting.
Richard and I are very happy with our wedding and we sincerely thank you for organizing everything.
Our wedding was beautiful, the flower and decoration were stunning. The harpist and violinist you helped us select was awesome, we were very impressed!

Please do not hesitate to use us as a reference for other brides and grooms looking for a wonderful wedding planner for their special day.
Thank you so much for a great wedding. We are SO satisfied and the feedback from our guests is that this is the best wedding they have been to😄 I will off course send a full recommendation:)

About:
The chapel itself is a very simple structure and one of the oldest in Prague. It was probably founded before the Romanesque sections dated from 1240 were incorporated. Although it was damaged later, during the Husite wars, it has not been extensively reconstructed. History of the Ujezd settlement to which the Chapel of John the Baptist upon Laver has always been central, reaches back to the beginning of the 12th century.
Significant, but sensitive late Baroque alternations from the first half of 18th century include the oratory on the northern side as well as the windows in the opposite wall and the west front. The quality of these alternations indicates work by Kilian Ignace Dientzenhoffer who was active in the vicinity at that time.
The chapel is a simple, yet very interesting, due to the composition of various architectural elements dating from several epochs. Such as the narrow Romanesque windows in the southern wall, Gothic Sedile in the presbytery, Late Gothic to early Renaissance loft and gable, the Baroque addition of the oratory as well as dynamic forms of the windows. Several works by Frantisek Bilek (1872-1941) are the most valuable part of the interior.

Andrea,
I hope you are doing well! We recently arrived home from our honeymoon and Kenny and I are reflecting on how amazing our wedding was. We wanted to say how thankful we are for you and how appreciative of all of the hard work you put into making our special day exactly was we envisioned.
Your attention to detail and organization is impressive! We always thought planning a wedding from California all the way in Prague would be difficult, and we could not have done it without your expertise – you were always so quick on email and I appreciate the many emails back and forth! We truly could not have asked for a better wedding – it was a dream come true and exactly was we always wanted, down to every small detail. For that we thank you, so incredibly much.
With all the excitement going on the wedding day, we completely forgot to ask about a tip for the Villa Richter staff. Is there typically a tip that is given to them? If so, we can still send over some money for that.
