Thanks for getting in touch, I was going to email you this weekend, it’s been so busy since we got back and are now back in work too 🙁
We really can’t Thank You enough for all you’ve done over the past few months, you have been truly wonderful.
We had an absolutely fantastic day, everything was perfect, we couldn’t have asked for more.
Konopiste was out of this world, the service and food at the Hotel U Prince was first class, all of our guests commented on the lamb chops, they were cooked to perfection, the roof terrace was a beautiful setting, the cake was divine (and so much of it!), the tables were decorated better than I could have hoped!! Please extend our thanks to the photographer who was wonderful, we can’t wait to see the pictures!!!
I will email Dusan myself, but the church service was just what we asked for, we’ve watched the video since we’ve been home as we could hardly remember it due to nerves, excitement etc, and it was wonderful.
Could you also please thank the staff at Konopiste, they were so welcoming and did an excellent job at clearing the snow!!! 🙂
Also, the girls who did the hair and make up were both lovely, very professional, I was so pleased with my hair and Lisa’s Make-Up.
What more can I say? It was magical, the fairytale we wished for and we couldn’t have done it without your help!!

About:
Detenice is beautiful castle situated in east Bohemia, approx. 80 min drive from Prague. You will admire completely reconstructed castle with own brewery and hotel.
All the premises at the castle can be rented and used for your fabulous ceremony, followed by reception.
About
Yard Resort is located 10 km to the north of Prague in the village of Předboj. It is a multifunctional site that offers modern and diverse facilities, including accommodation in a new modern design hotel. Resort also provides sport activities and golf course.
Wedding ceremony
Yard Resort is ideal for your wedding – it offers not just beautiful places for holding your wedding ceremony outside, but also a number of backup alternatives in the case of rain and areas where a large marquee can be erected and modern catering facilities staged in various styles ensuring that we can meet the wishes of all your wedding guests.
There are a few options where to hold the ceremony.
Pier garden
This garden offers a magical view onto a fishpond and is shaded by aged trees, an indisputable advantage on a hot summer’s day. A staircase to a small gate next to the café leads to the garden from the yard. It is also handily connected with the adjacent terrace and garden and the café facilities. The ideal place for serving a welcome drink and for the wedding guests to gather near to the site of the ceremony.
Orchard garden
The garden can be reached through the golf car park or through the pier garden. Like the first garden, it is located on the bank of a fishpond with a picturesque view of an old fort. The garden is large enough for large weddings, though this is not to say that small weddings held here will not also have their own magic.
Stable
The former stable has beautiful vaulted roofs and a stately appearance and is often used for weddings in the cooler months or as a backup venue in the case of rain. Wedding ceremonies are also held in the stable in the case of rain.
Wedding reception
The Granary is a historical two-storey building. The lower storey is often the main venue for wedding celebrations, while the upper storey is a more peaceful zone that can be used for projecting photographs, as a photography area, as a place where wedding guests can change, as a children’s play area, etc.
There can sit up to 120 wedding guests in comfort on the lower storey, with a reception, wedding cake, presents, and a band or DJ. This stylish venue, in a combination of wood and stone, offers unlimited possibilities for decoration. The Granary has its own enclosed garden where you will be undisturbed by other events and activities at Yard Resort. The yard area can also be used as a play area for children, where they can ride bicycles and scooters, kick a football around, play hopscotch or do some chalk drawings.
The Granary is the ideal place for wedding festivities for 30 people or more as the variability of the venue allows for a wide range of wedding table arrangements along with a dance floor and catering facilities.
Café
The Café is suitable for smaller weddings held in a less formal style.
Zumba Bar
Zumba bar – a venue with a slightly industrial feel ideal for all kinds of parties, DJ dance parties, live concerts, barman shows or dance performances. The venue is, in part, designed as a dance hall with mirrors and a wooden floor that provide a beautiful contrast to the industrial columns and roofs. This is the perfect place when the night really gets going, when wedding attire is swapped for something less formal and more comfortable, when women become beasts of prey and men become Fred Astaire.
Lodging
There are 10 standard rooms, 9 De Luxe and one romantic apartment with spa bath. Total capacity including extra beds is 64 beds.
About
Horse Park Kamenný dvůr is situated in picturesque countrysidenear Dobříš city. There used to be Bukov castle’s farm, which belonged to Colloredo-Mansfelf family. A modern riding center was built up in its place and now offers horses stabling in spacious box stalls with 24/7 high quality care, a riding school and four riding-halls with commodious facilities for riders and comfortable accommodation.
The farm dates back to 1879 which was carved into the beam of The Špejchar, required detailed reconstruction and incorporated modern elements into the original historical building and surrounding greenery. An aged mulberry (a unique one in Příbram region) and a poplar tree grow in front of the main gates. The preserved brick arches in the stable shape box stalls that excel in their superior size. The stone Špejchar works as a lounge and The Big Club will surprise you with its view of the countryside…

Wedding ceremony
There are two options for wedding ceremonies. The first option is to hold the ceremony on the square of the equestrian complex, symbolically in front of the statue The rider from the sculptor Michal Gabriel. The second option is the “Wedding Meadow“, which is an extraordinarily romantic place with panoramatical view into the surroundings..
Wedding reception
The Horse Park Kamenný Dvůr also offers the inside premises, where you can organize a wedding reception or a party for your friends. If you wish to have one large wedding table you may prefer the Big Club, which will fascinate you with its charming old English atmosphere. If you prefer a more informal atmosphere than there is the authentic renovated Spejchar.
Lodging
There are eleven double rooms including two luxury apartments, that are perfectly created for an unforgettable wedding night.

The convent areal of Prague dominicans is located between Husova, Jilsdka and Jalovcova street, in the same heart of Prague. Original roman church St. Gilles was changed to the chapter by bishops of Prague. After the Prague castle and Vysehrad this was third chapter with a significant meaning.The chapter was consecrated by Archbishop Jan Ocko on May 3rd, 1371, with the presence of King Charles IV. and his wife Eliska.

Step inside and you step back a hundred years. Gold & crystal chandeliers hang elegantly from the ceiling and smartly dressed waiters attend competently to their guests. The restaurant is set inside the beautiful Municipal House, one of the finest Art Nouveau buildings in Europe.
The restaurant has huge windows facing out onto Republic Square. The high ceilings and fresh flowers spread throughout, give the restaurant a light, airy feel… perfect anytime, day or night.
The cuisine is distinctly French, but there are also some good Czech and International options as well. In such an elegant setting, it would simply not do to forget the music. Live piano therefore rounds off the atmosphere every evening.

Everything was absolutely perfect .. not that I ever expected it wouldn’t be with your fantastic organisational skills and utter perfectionism!!! Each detail of the day was wonderful, and I can honestly say it will be a day Kev and I, plus all our family and friends will never forget!!
We had a great honeymoon, and an extra two days of it also with all the palava that happened at Bangkok airport 🙂 – now it’s back to work, but we do have christmas to look forward to!!
I suppose the next big thing to plan will be a family … 🙂 🙂

Andy and I hope you and your husband, Tom, are well and that Amelie (Magic Baby) is feeling much better.
We had a nap Wednesday afternoon, then to the concert which was so moving, another emotional event for both of us. The Rudolfinum, small concert hall, 8 players. To listen to the music now means so much more than ever before. Today I purchased Dvorak in Prague and Johann Pachelbel: Canon & Gigue.
I just wanted to let you know of course we got home OK and hopefully we will be among those who actually make it back to Prague when they say they will be back! You live in the most beautiful and captivating city I have ever visited.
We so enjoyed meeting you and getting to know you. When you visit the States, please look us up. You could stay in our Provincetown cottage on the ocean! Something to think about.
We are looking forward to our photographs. What a Day!

I thought you would like to know we were happy to receive the package with documents and photographs; and we are VERY pleased with photos, we look at them over and over again. The Palace was originally built in the middle of the 16th century by Jaroslav of Pernstejn & his brother Vratislav, High Chancellor of Bohemia. It was to this very building that the injured ministers Martinic & Slavata were brought and hidden by Polyxena after their famous defenestration from the adjoining Royal Castle in 1618.
After the Battle of the White Mountain in 1620, the Lobkowicz family stood at the forefront of Central European politics & culture for the next 300 years. Large scale remodeling of the Palace interior was undertaken in the mid-17th and 19th centuries, as well as functional alterations under the Communist regime (1948-1989). The castle was confiscated by the Communists in 1952 from Prince Maximilian Lobkowicz. Max was a friend and supporter of Thomas Masaryk (President of Czechoslovakia) and his son, Jan Masaryk (Foreign Minister) and became Czechoslovak Ambassador to Great Britain during World War II (serving from 1939-1948). The Lobkowicz Palace was returned to the Roudnice Lobkowicz family in 2003 under the restitution laws of 1991.

first of all thank you very much for sending the certificate and the DvD. In reply on this mail, yes we had a more than wonderfull time in Praque!!!! Everything was more than wonderfull and looking at the DvD we shared some (more than some hi hi) tears together. The filmer made something beautiful work which gives us a beautiful memory for life! Will you thank him again and the photographer as well, because the pictures are also perfect.
It took me some time to answer you, because I tried to send you some pictures from our wedding in Zaandam, but it did not succeed, I will try again later if I can find somebody to help me with it.

I was just unsubscribing from this but thought I’d send you the link first- not sure if worth looking at advertising on as it’s a pretty popular site for people getting married in the UK.
Hope all is well and glad to hear that the money finally got through- can’t apologise enough- as I said and as per their summary they had our money for ages though I’m surprised to see that your bank must have been taking at least 5 days to credit the funds once they had the money too- they were much quicker on the first 2 payments.
Feels very surreal looking at some of the photos which we’ve been sent by friends and family- it was such an amazing day and we really can’t thank you (and Tom!) enough for making it so special- everyone was really impressed by the high standards of everything! Will make sure I send the Bohemia events link when I email everyone as you never know who’ll be planning the next one!

hoping you are both very well, and that baby is also, andrea when is your birth date and was hoping you could give us your home address please? Matthew and I are really well, we have had some fabulous weather, but sadly the rain has arrived.
Freya has had a birthday 11 years old now! and Portia turned 16 years old and has left school now!!! aaargh!! i feel so old!! hehehe Portia will go back to do exams and then she starts college in September, she will move away and she wants to be an equine Dentist!( horses)
It is the mums 60th birthdays this week Joans tommorrow and susan( my mum) on sunday so Matthew and I are organising a surprise Garden party on saturday afternoon, I ordered the weather !! hot and sunny of coarse, so should be a lovely weekend.
Six weddings! thats great,business is obviously thriving, well you are fab at what you do!!
We have only just got our photos back this week so we will hand pick a few and post them to your home, then you can scan them as we do not know how
give our love to Thomas and glad to hear he is getting back to normal.

Anna Maria Franziska of the Palatinate (née Saxe-Lauenburg, 1672–1741) had this Baroque country house built prior to 1720; it was finished in 1725. Apart from the main hall, the most significant room is the sala terrena underneath. The grottoes connecting to the garden on the ground floor have fountains with sculptural decoration in the shape of Hercules, water deities, sea monsters and angels which are quite remarkable. The Duchess, who after the death of her first husband married the Tuscan Grand Duke, Gian Gastone III, the last male descendent of the Medici family, ran a costly court at Ploskovice. In the 1730s the French terrace garden was remodelled. A gloriette, shown in its 19th century incarnation, serves as a bellevue. In 1764 the house was altered in Rococo style and in 1773 further building alterations were made to the house and greenhouse in the garden. The composition of the garden was simplified from 1816. During a Neo-Baroque reconstruction from 1850–3 for the abdicated ruler Emperor Ferdinand V the upper floor was raised, and pavilions appeared at the end of the Baroque arcade corridors, as well as a new northern portico. The garden was changed into a landscape park and servants quarters grew up after 1816 on the site of a destroyed earlier house.
