Hi, Andrea,
We’re glad you liked the flowers – just a little something from us to say thank you and to brighten up the cold days. 🙂
I’m so excited to see the video and the rest of Stepan’s photos! Do you think you could please put in a request to Vaclav to include the opening procession of the wedding party and me and my dad in the video? That choir was just incredible – I think it was one of the best decisions we made for this wedding. We’re getting a second CD from Vaclav with raw footage from the day, correct?
Enjoy your weekend, too!

Dear Andrea and Iva,
My husband and I wanted to send along our sincere thanks for doing such an outstanding job of organizing our daughter’s wedding. We know Maggy is very particular about certain details (or all of them), and thank you for putting up with her for 8 months! You did an amazing job pulling everything together and introducing Maggy and Eric to great vendors.
Please pass along our thanks to Marketa and Ivo – we’ve already written to Stepan and I plan on writing to Lucie. The Intercontinental looked simply beautiful thanks to Lucie and her team, and Marketa’s gorgeous flowers. My cousin is a florist (she was in attendance) and she was so impressed with the flowers and how they were arranged. All of the details felt very special and personal. And Ivo did such a great job with Maggy’s hair and makeup! The other team of makeup and hair artists were also wonderful on that day; the girls and I felt very special and well taken care of.
We know that the both of you put in many hours to make this weekend flawless. It couldn’t have been easy to work over such a long distance, but it was very important to us and to Maggy that we hold the wedding close to Jelenia Gora so that her grandparents and our family could be there. We have received so many compliments from not only our friends and family that attended but also those who could not make it, but were delighted with the photos. We’re so happy that you could make our daughter’s wedding everything she dreamed of and more.
Thank you again for creating memories that will last us a lifetime!
Best regards,
Elizabeth and Mirek
Hi, Andrea,
We’re both doing well – it’s great to hear from you! I saw photos of you and Tom at the party in London on FB – looks like you two had a blast. A little alone time for mommy and daddy is fabulous for you two and awesome for the grandparents, too! 🙂
Whatever photos Stepan chooses for the magazine are fine with us.
Regarding the theme, the city of Prague and the Intercontinental’s Zlata Praha Restaurant were my inspiration. I wanted the vintage elements of the wedding, such as the flowers and other decorative touches like the brooches, tablecloths, china, cake, frames for family photos, etc. to reflect the old-world and glamorous beauty of Prague. The view of the city’s spires from the Zlata Praha provided an amazing backdrop for all of these decorative elements. The vintage theme made the wedding very special to us as it served as a tangible and cohesive connection to gorgeous Prague. I absolutely chose my wedding dress and jewelry, as well as the bridesmaids’ dresses and jewelry, with the vintage theme in mind. I thought the lace and pearls on my dress, as well as its ivory color, were quite romantic and yet intricate like the architecture of the city. The bridesmaids’ dresses were delicate with a vintage charm to them, especially when paired with the long tulle, pearl, and beaded necklaces.
Thanks for all the compliments. 🙂 We both feel so lucky and happy when we think of all that you did to help us pull off our wedding. My parents and Eric’s parents honestly cannot say enough about it…it was unforgettable for us all.
We’re in the middle of a pretty crazy winter here. Every few weeks, we get hit with a huge snowstorm, just last night, we had an ice storm. We’re ready for spring! Also, I’m in the middle of a pretty intense job search; I’m ready to move on from my current company. Designing the look of weddings to reflect a couple’s personality and taste is something that’s definitely crossed my mind after the incredible experience of my own wedding, plus Ashley and Emily’s weddings last year, but I’m kind of at a loss of where to start. So, things are quite busy here in Middletown, but that’s life. 🙂
Thanks for thinking of us for the article. We’re always happy to lend a hand if helps showcase your business.
Take care and lots of hugs!
Maggy
